Position: Technical Support Engineer

Location: Dublin/Field based

Salary: 50-60k Euros plus company car or allowance

Our client is a Global Leading Manufacturer with over 100 years of history producing HVAC Cooling equipment across AHUs, CCUs, Air Conditioning and Chillers for the Commercial, Industrial and Data Centre sectors. Due to continued growth across Ireland, they’re seeking a Technical Support Engineer.

The role of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide day-to-day technical support to internal teams, customers and end-users, both on-site across Ireland and remotely via Microsoft Teams, TeamViewer, and telephone. Support includes the installation of products such as air handling units, commercial chillers and heat pumps, building control systems. Additionally, assist site-based service teams and partners with the successful commissioning, integration, and handover of packaged equipment. Liaise with Product Managers and Global Technical Support to provide second-line support and stay updated on product developments.

Technical Support Engineer Job Requirements

• Understanding of the Data Centre industry, HVAC equipment, building site operations.
• Hold Electrical knowledge such as BMS and Controls Panels
• Have Commissioning knowledge/understanding is advantageous
• Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpreting wiring diagrams and controls
• Willingness to travel across Europe (hold valid passport & Ireland driving license),

Technical Support Engineer Salary & Benefits

• 50-60K Euros per annum, depending on experience
